Versions and extensions of PHP in cPanel
At Artehosting, we provide the most popular versions of PHP and allow users to select the necessary extensions for their development. Here's how to do it:
-
Access the cPanel control panel using your admin credentials.
-
Within cPanel, look for the "Software" section and click on "PHP Version Selector."
-
On the PHP Version Selector page, you will see a list of the domains hosted on your server along with the current PHP version for each one.
-
Select the domain for which you want to change the PHP version by clicking on the corresponding link.
-
In the PHP versions dropdown, choose the version you want to use. The available versions may vary depending on your server's configuration.
-
Click the "Set as current" button to set the selected version as the current PHP version for the domain.
-
The PHP version change will be applied immediately to the selected domain. You can confirm the change by reviewing the main PHP Version Selector page.
-
Repeat steps 4 to 7 for each domain on the server where you want to change the PHP version.
Congratulations! You have successfully changed the PHP version for the selected domains on your cPanel server. Please note that when changing the PHP version, some existing applications or scripts may require adjustments to work correctly with the new version. Always check compatibility before making significant changes to PHP configuration.
